Jodie A. Lacelle
AREAS OF EMPHASIS
- Family Law BACKGROUND Jodie A. Lacelle was originally from Leroy, Saskatchewan. She attended the University of Saskatchewan in 1996 and received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with a major in Sociology in 1998. Jodie then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from the University of Saskatchewan in 2002. Jodie began articling with MacBean Tessem in June 2002 and was called to the Bar in July 2003. She has been with the firm as an Associate since 2003 and was also appointed Agent for the Attorney General of Canada that same year. Jodie also acts as agent for the Maintenance Enforcement Office in the Southwest area.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
Jodie is a current member of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association and represents Swift Current on the Board of District Govenors. She is an active member of the Public Legal Education Association, and has given a number of presentations on a variety of subjects, including: Traffic Offences, Child Custody, Access and Support, Special Care Homes, Marriage and the Family. Jodie is also a current member of the Canadian Bar Association.
Outside of work, Jodie is involved in a number of sporting activities, including curling, volleyball and slo-pitch. Email:
