BACKGROUND

B. Lynn Galey, nee Pearl, was born and raised in Southwest Saskatchewan. She and her husband, Neal, and their three children reside in the Admiral District where they operate a mixed farm.

Lynn obtained her Law Degree (LL.B) and Bachelor of Commerce Degree (B. Comm) from the University of Saskatchewan. She was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1992 and became an Associate with the Firm. Lynn became a Partner of MacBean Tessem in 1996.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE

Lynn was Past Secretary of the Southwest Bar Association from 1993 to 1996, and Past-President of the Southwest Bar Association from 1996 to 1999. She was a Director of the Collaborative Lawyers of Saskatchewan Inc. Association from 2006 to 2008, and a member since 2002.

Lynn is a current member of the Canadian Bar Association, Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association, Collaborative Lawyers of Saskatchewan Inc. and Southwest Bar Association.

Lynn has been a volunteer 4-H Leader for 10 years in the Admiral Community. She has also served on the Board for Southwest Crisis Services Inc. and as a Director of Big Brothers Swift Current Branch.

Lynn was acting agent for the Attorney General of Canada from July 1992 to October 2007, and is presently acting agent for the Federal Public Prosecutions.
